The future

It is time we, as an electorate, regained the power that the Constitution afforded us.  Those whoom we placed our trust in to serve our interests, have forsaken the oaths they took to serve our interests.  We have an opportunity each election year to rectify the mistakes we made in misplacing that trust.  We have the power to employ the ultimate term limit on any given elected member of government by simply voting them out of office.  Thus we could create and implement the ultimate "of the people, by the people, for the people" government by NOT voting for incumbents just because they are there.  That means, If we find an E O that is not SERVING but instead being corrupt and TAKING, we can oust that person and get new blood into the Lawmaking system.
The only problem is this would take effort on the part of the electorate and we know that just isn't going to happen.

What? Me Worry

Last quarter the economy sparkled,  jobs and employment increased and the stock market grew again.
My word, Pres. Bush has simply ruined the economy; now hasn't he.
Why, the Congress is in a real dither as to what to waste the increased revenues on next.
And all the candidates are scampering around like the ditsy little plutocrats they are, attempting to shine
the darkest light possible ont eh whole matter.
Ah!! Isn't America grand though!!
