The question remains 'To whom do we credit the High prices ?' The answer is not simple, and remains elusive. Contributing elements are the lack of refinery capacity; environmental road blocks to energy policy; ineptitude in bureacracy; corruption within the elected officials ranks; politics in general are among the most
egregious causes. One of the most interesting aspects of the entire issue is that the environmental agenda seems to be the beneficiary of the price hikes becase they ( the environmentalists) would absolutely love to have each and evry one of us driving pregrant roller skates istead of real cars. Think about it...
