It is obvious that the Democratic party doesn't care for the rule of law, for if they did William Jefferson Clinton would have served time for his " Lying To A Grand Jury" ( which got Martha a Guest Shot in Fed Pen USA).
The Republican party isn't all that sold on the truth either, if truth is an issue at all. In fact , it might be put forth that, nearly anyone elected to office has a problem with the truth because we rarely hear it from their almost constantly moving lips. They seem to have a penchant for asking inane rhetorical questions and then answering them. No matter the party to which an electee belongs, and no matter what their values were before thy were elected, there is a process which transforms them from a real person into a perpetual candidate. They spend 90% of their "after election" time trying to get re-elected( which requires taking different stands with different people in order to be viable with whomever they are shmoosing at any given time). If anyone cared, there would be one consistant policy and stand oozing from their slippery lips all of the time. If there were any deviation or inconsistancy then other people who cared would make them explain said deviation or inconsistancy. That is obviously out of the question because, just as obviously, there is no one who cares. Think about it.....
